- Drink plenty of water! (1/2 your body weight in (oz.) per day. (1 Liter is approx. 33oz)
- Do not exceed 1 cup of coffee per day.
- 1 cup of Herbal or Green tea is allowed per day, 2 cups if you drink ZERO coffee.
- Do not I repeat DO NOT, go to Phase 2 if you have not successfully completed Phase 1, and DO NOT go to Phase 3 until you have successfully completed Phase 2.
- Absolutely NO SODAS! (real or diet)
- Absolutely NO ALCOHOL for Phases 1 & 2! We will talk more about it in Phase 3.
- Absolutely NO SUGAR or ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS other than the stevia products i've suggested.
- Try to consume all of your fruits before 3:00pm
- Load up on vegetables for dinner.
- Plan, schedule, and write down your meals the night before!
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep at night, try to read a book at night as opposed to watching TV.
- Absolutely no bread (other than Ezekiel), no pasta, no white potatoes (in any form), no chips, no tortillas, no white rice, no cereal, no bagels, or any other processed or enriched starches.
- Foods labeled Low-fat are usually very high in sugar, this is BAD! stay away from them.
- Stay in parameter of the grocery store when you shop, all of the processed foods are in the aisles.
- Eat 4-6 meals per day
- Do not wait over 4 hours before you eat.
- Do not keep your lights on at night or sit in front of the computer, it tricks your body into thinking it is day time, and makes you crave food and more specifically sugar.
